Grant Writing For Freelance Writers is a non-accredited online course developed by Martina Donkers, and complies with the Australian Consumer Law.

No part of the course or associated materials (videos, worksheets, images, websites, etc.) may be copied, distributed, reproduced or re-published without the express written consent of Martina Donkers.

Enrolment  

You agree to pay the full course fee upon enrolling in the course. Payment is due on enrolment, not on completion. Full payment is required even if you do not complete the course or access all inclusions.

Access  

Materials are owned and provided by Martina Donkers, ABN 84 914 338 829. Access to the materials is facilitated by TekMatix, owned and operated by MainTraining Pty Ltd, ABN 74 164 108 954, which is an Australian-based company. Martina Donkers is not liable for any disruption to accessing the course materials due to a TekMatix error.

 

If you are unable to access the course, please email martinadonkers@gmail.com and we will troubleshoot. If, after troubleshooting, you are completely unable to access the course, you will be provided with a refund or an alternative way to access the materials.

 

Access to the course materials is available for the lifetime of the product. This means that purchasers may access the materials for as long as the product is available.

 

At any time, Martina Donkers may decide to discontinue the product. In this case, all paid users will receive 3 months’ notice by email about the closure of the product. After 3 months, the materials will be removed from the platform and access will no longer be available.

1:1 calls  

Purchase may include a set number of 1:1 calls.

 

These calls will be scheduled using a video call platform (e.g. Zoom) for the agreed duration at a mutually agreeable time.

 

All calls must take place within 6 months of purchase of the course. Calls will expire after this time.

 

Call participants are expected to behave in a professional and appropriate way. Calls will be ended if any behaviour is deemed threatening or aggressive. No refunds will be given in this circumstance.

Grant Writing For Freelance Writers is a non-accredited course and has not been reviewed or certified by any professional body.

 

All advice and instruction provided in the course was developed based on the professional experience of Martina Donkers. All due care has been taken to ensure advice is sound and instructions are correct. However, no guarantee of quality, correctness or utility is provided. All purchasers should use their own personal and professional judgement in implementing any advice provided. No liability is accepted for any outcome that arises from the use of the content of this course.

 

The course was developed in Australia, and pertains primarily to grants available in Australia. Purchasers who are seeking to work on grant applications available outside of Australia should carefully consider the applicability of the advice given, and use their professional judgement before implementing the advice. As a guide, issues such as understanding the needs of
grant makers and responding to selection criteria are likely to be applicable anywhere, but information such as the general structure of grant applications may vary between countries.

Change of mind  

This course is intended for freelance writers who want to learn how to write grant applications for their clients.

 

Purchasers who have purchased the course for a different reason and found it not suitable for their needs may request a refund. This will be offered as long as purchasers have completed only as much of the course as was needed to determine it is not suited for their needs.

 

Refund requests should be issued in writing to martinadonkers@gmail.com. Refunds are issued at the sole discretion of Martina Donkers. Requests should include a reason for the refund request. No refunds are available after 30 days, except in exceptional circumstances.

Communications  

Upon signing up to the course, purchasers will be added to the mailing list. Purchasers may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email.

 

Unsubscribing may inhibit delivery of core course emails, such as password reset information and call confirmation emails. If you believe this has happened, please email martinadonkers@gmail.com and we will work on a solution.

Privacy  

This website collects your name and email address in order to provide the course that has been purchased. This information is stored by TekMatix and is not accessible by others. TekMatix will also store your course progress as you mark lessons “complete”.

 

Your personal information will not be provided to any other party, unless this is required by law.

 

Payments are collected by the third-party payments platform Stripe. This is a standard enterprise-grade payment processing platform. Stripe collects personal data such as credit card information to facilitate transactions. Martina Donkers does not have access to purchasers’ credit card information. Governing Law  

This course operates under Australian Law, including the Australian Consumer Law. If any dispute arises, the laws of Australia and of New South Wales apply.
